Life can be down right cruel sometimes. Various roadblocks and challenges are put in front of us on a regular basis and depending on how we perceive these experiences they can create a tornado of emotions with stress occupying the center.

Here are a few ideas on how you can incorporate more music into your life to make your day a bit more enjoyable!
1. Wake yourself up with music, set your clock radio to your favourite station or blare the CD player in the bathroom while you shower.
2. Turn on the tunes in your car on your way to (or from) work or just running errands. It can take your mind off the traffic, noise and pollution and help bring more ease to your daily commute. And don’t be afraid to belt it out loud when the chorus hits like Chris Farley and David Spade.
3. Grab your MP3 player before heading out for your daily walk, run or workout. Inspirational music can help you stay motivated throughout your exercise routine.
4. Putting on some soothing tunes while you’re cooking or eating dinner can energize you after a long day. If you’re more relaxed, this daily chore will seem more effortless and because you will be more relaxed when you sit down to eat, your body will digest food better than when its feeling tension.
5. Crank the music up when you’re doing any household chores or paying bills. These tasks on there own can often be tedious but they can be a lot of fun too if you set it up that way.
Since getting quality sleep each night is key to any successful day, play some light relaxing music at bedtime to help ease your mind and slow down your breathing to lull you into a peaceful slumber.
