5 Ways Muscle Will Save Your Life: Part II With Vince DelMonte, Health and Fitness Expert
After speaking with Vince DelMonte last week (click here for Part I of our conversation), we now know why building muscle is the fastest way for men and women to burn fat, and get incredible looking bodies.
But can building muscle also save your life?

[Have you ever tried rock-climbing? Bloody hard, but a great test of your mind and body. Give it a whirl at an indoor facility first, before you attempt anything remotely close to the picture above!]
Here’s what Vince had to say in a follow-up conversation:
Vince: Most men follow my No Nonsense Muscle Building program because they want to get huge muscles and impress the ladies. Most women want to lose weight fast, and impress the men. But lately I have had so many clients register because of the massive health benefits associated with having more muscle.
Me: You mean like those bodybuilders I see on in the workout magazines?
Vince: Absolutely not. Most of those guys are on some sort of drugs and I would never recommend that. It is very dangerous and totally unnecessary.
Me: Okay good, because I would have to buy a whole new wardrobe, yikes! So how can muscle be so healthy?
Vince: There are many ways, but I will quickly tell you my favourite 5 ways muscle gives you a better life.
1. More Muscle Decrease Your Risk Of Disease.
Weight training improves the way the body processes sugar and uses it in your body. So it not only prevents diabetes but helps those with diabetes live better lives.
2. More Muscle Improves Your Attitude And Fights Depression.
A recent study from Harvard says, 10 weeks of strength training reduced depression symptoms more successfully than standard counselling did. I am always getting emails from my clients that are feeling more confident and capable as a result of my bodybuilding program, all important factors in fighting depression.
3. More Muscle Reduces Your Risk Of Injury, Back Pain and Arthritis.
Bodybuilding not only builds stronger muscles, but also builds stronger connective tissues and increases joint stability. This helps prevent injury. Strengthening the low-back muscles has an 80 percent success rate in eliminating or alleviating low-back pain.
4. More Muscle Reduces Your Risk of Heart Disease.
Weight training helps your heart in many ways. If lowers your LDL ( “bad cholesterol”), and increases HDL (“good cholesterol”) and lowers your blood pressure. If you also add in some cardiovascular exercise the benefits are even higher.
5. You Will Be Physically Stronger.
I know that may sound stupid. But with building muscle it means you will be far less dependent upon others for assistance in daily living. Chores will be easier, lifting kids, playing sports, grocery shopping, and yes even your sex life will be more fun. Life is just better when you are stronger.
And remember MUSCLE = FAT LOSS
I’ve met a lot of Vince’s clients over the years and he is the real deal. Vince is absolutely dedicated to helping people achieve their dream body and I strongly encourage men and women to check out his muscle building product No NonSense Muscle Building or his flat stomach book Your Six Pack Quest. We have an extensive review of Your Six Pack Quest so be sure to check that out and see if it’s right for you. Who are we kidding, it’s right for anybody!
